Bachlor of Education (B.Ed)
Bachelor of education is an undergraduate degree course that qualifies students to work as teachers in schools. The duration of this course is 2 years with a total of 4 semesters. The acronym of Bachelor of Education is B.Ed. The B.Ed degree is necessary for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary divisions.
Bachelor of Education course can also be pursued through correspondence or distance learning, both of which generally have a duration of 2 years.
After B.Ed, students have the flexibility to pursue Master of Education [M.Ed.] in any Indian university or teacher-training institutes offering the course. The National Council for Teacher Education is the statutory body that regulates teacher training courses in India.
The specialization subject or stream of pursuance by a particular student prior to the pursuance of B.Ed course determines the choice of subjects that he or she is allowed to teach.

Eligibility
- 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
- Preferably Hindi as the main subject at the Higher Secondary level.
- Qualification of a relevant entrance test in the case of some institutes.
Procedure of Admission
- 1. Original Transfer Certificate (T.C.) of the last studied institution.
- 2. A photocopy of the Mark sheet of 10th and 12th exam.
- 3. Migration Certificate for the students from other Universities and Boards.
- 4. Character Certificate attested by the Principal of the last studied institution.
- 5. Character Certificate of Private students attested by 2 persons of authorized posts must be submitted.
- 6. Gap Certificate should be submitted by the candidates having discontinuity in studies.
- 7. The candidates in job must produce ' No-Objection ' certificate from their respective office.
- 8. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC should produce Caste Certificate.
- 9. All the Original Certificate are to be produce during Counseling.
